Job Description

Strong Application Maintenance and Support (AMS) experience along with desirable exposure to Tech stack highlighted, preferably in the Capital Markets domain (Trading applications).
Bachelors degree in computer science or related field
5+ years of experience with at least 2 years of L2.5 / L3 production support
Knowledge of development and deployment best practices
Experience with infrastructure management and system administration
Must have experience with at least one scripting language: Python, PLSQL.
Must have hands on development/support experience with ReactJS
Must have exposure to at least one (1): Restful APIs, HTML, Java Microservices, CSS
Must be proficient in Linux and Windows Operating systems
Experience with General Operations and Batch Monitoring: Autosys, Ctrl-M or equivalent
Experience with Databases: MS SQL, Snowflake
Well versed with SDLC processes, Git / Bitbucket & test automation
Excellent organization, communication, and a diligent approach to problem solving are required
Well-versed with Incident life cycle management, Problem life cycle management.
Experience with a ticketing system like ServiceNow or JIRA
Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently
Strong communication and documentation skills
Capable of working individually and/or with a large team comprised of multiple disciplines

Nice to Have

Experience with reporting/visualization tool like Power BI, Tableau etc.
Practical experience in using Web development, Microservices, Docker/Kubernetes & Linux
Basic knowledge of statistical theory, financial instruments, and markets.
