Job Description

Job Overview

24X7 proactive monitoring of network infrastructure (Routers | Console Servers | Switches | Wireless Access Points | Wireless LAN Controllers | VPN) using KKR owned monitoring tools / platforms (keeping the lights on)
Advanced troubleshooting of network related issues escalated to the L2 team (including SD WAN support)
Post incident reviews with impact analysis and track it to closure
Approved change deployment (upgrades, deployment of patches)
Liaison with third party vendors / OEMs / ISPs / hands & feet vendors
Network performance management
Network health & reliability management
Maintain accurate asset repository of network devices in asset management database
Performance / compliance reporting, SLA tracking & reporting
Retain comprehensive case ownership while escalating tickets to the L3 KKR team for advanced support

Qualifications:

Bachelor degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
5 to 8 years of experience in network support
Strong understanding of networking protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
Experience in configuring and troubleshooting routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
Knowledge on firewall domain experience & preferably palo-alto
Understanding of Wi-Fi network design and support.
Experience with network monitoring tools and technologies (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds).
Hands-on experience with network equipment and network hardware from leading vendors (Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto)
Knowledge in Cloud (AWS, Azure, Terraform)
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Relevant certifications (CCNA, CCNP Security, CompTIA Security+ will be plus )
