Experienced Linux Server Patching Engineer with a strong background in managing and maintaining RedHat, SLES, CentOS, and Ubuntu operating systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating, deploying, and troubleshooting patches and vulnerabilities on Linux servers while ensuring adherence to best practices in vulnerability management. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate, deploy, and troubleshoot patches and vulnerabilities on Linux servers running RedHat, SLES, CentOS, and Ubuntu operating systems. Possess a good understanding of vulnerability management practices and familiarity with CVE scoring to prioritize patch deployments effectively. Utilize Python scripting skills for automation tasks related to patch management processes. Employ Ansible AWX for efficient configuration management and automation of patching procedures. Provide suggestions for scanning improvement based on the analysis of vulnerability scanner data. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful patch deployments without disrupting business operations. Lead fellow engineers troubleshooting patching failures and provide technical guidance
