Job Description

About the Role:

Kubernetes Wrangler

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and operate Kubernetes clusters in production, staging, and development environments.
Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot containerized applications on Kubernetes.
Automate cluster provisioning, scaling, upgrades, and recovery.
Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code templates and automation scripts (Terraform, Helm, Ansible).
Collaborate with development teams to design cloud-native architectures and deployment strategies.
Implement and maintain observability solutions: logging, metrics, tracing (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
Manage Kubernetes RBAC, network policies, and security best practices.
Handle incident response, root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
Optimize cluster performance, resource allocation, and cost-efficiency.
Stay current with Kubernetes ecosystem updates, tools, and best practices.

Preferred Skills:

Kubernetes certifications such as CKA, CKAD, or equivalent.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and their managed Kubernetes services (EKS, GKE, AKS).
Knowledge of service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd).
Familiarity with GitOps tools like Argo CD or Flux.
Understanding of security standards and compliance requirements (RBAC policies, Pod Security Policies, OPA).
Experience with Helm chart development and management.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
