Kubernetes Developer

Role & responsibilities

Kubernetes & Docker:

• Deep understanding of Kubernetes architecture (Community Edition and GKE).
• Proven experience in provisioning, upgrading, and monitoring Kubernetes clusters.
• Strong experience in Kubernetes cluster sizing and optimization.
• Hands-on experience with container runtimes such as Docker.
• Proficiency in managing container registries and Helm charts.
• Expertise in container security and compliance.
  

CI/CD & Automation:

• Solid experience with CI/CD tools

  Azure DevOps

  ,

  Jenkins

  , and

  Ansible

  .
• Experience in creating and maintaining CI/CD workflows for containerized applications.
  

Cloud & Infrastructure:

• Good knowledge of

  Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

  .
• Understanding of container storage solutions and backup strategies.
• Basic understanding of enterprise and container networking concepts.
  

Monitoring & Logging:

• Proficiency in container monitoring tools such as

  Prometheus

  ,

  Grafana

  , and

  ELK Stack

  .

Operating Systems:

• Strong hands-on experience with

  Linux

  (CentOS/Ubuntu).

Operational & Support Skills:

• Experience working in

  24x7 operational support environments

  .
• Capable of handling

  Severity 1 and Severity 2

  incidents.
• Strong communication skills for effective incident management and stakeholder updates.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex container-related issues.
• Knowledge of

  ITIL processes

  and operational frameworks.
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
  

Preferred Skills:

• Scripting knowledge in

  Shell/Bash

  .
• Additional experience in other cloud platforms is a plus.
• Exposure to backup and recovery solutions in containerized environments.
