KST Supervisor

Role Overview: As a Steward at Coorg Marriott Resort & Spa, your role is crucial in ensuring efficient clean-up operations by directing and assisting Stewards. You will be responsible for maintaining appropriate water temperature and chemical levels for cleaning purposes. Additionally, you will assist with Banquet plate-ups, support kitchen staff with various tasks, provide necessary items to cooks, and ensure adequate stock for banquets and buffets. Operating and maintaining cleaning equipment and tools, such as the dishwashing machine, hand wash stations, pot-scrubbing station, and trash compactor, will also be part of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Directing and assisting Stewards in clean-up tasks - Ensuring proper water temperature and chemical levels for cleaning - Assisting with Banquet plate-ups - Supporting kitchen staff and providing necessary items to cooks - Transporting and maintaining adequate stock for banquets and buffets - Operating and maintaining cleaning equipment and tools Qualifications Required: - High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent education - At least 2 years of related work experience - At least 1 year of supervisory experience Additional Company Details: Marriott International is an equal opportunity employer that values diversity and promotes an inclusive, people-first culture.
