We value your contributions and want to help you learn and grow As a Key Account Manager, you will be working closely with a team of Territory Managers and distributors in the SA Region and will be responsible for Managing and growing the Strategic Account business in South India for MSA. Strategic Accounts being key growth driver for MSA, Key Account Manager will play a critical role for the organization to achieve top as well as bottom line commitments. In this process, you will be working to impart knowledge and prepare the most appropriate solutions for the customers. At the same time, you must possess business acumen, and technical knowledge/aptitude to support the internal team, distributors and end customers. Organization Chart Indicate and highlight the positioning of this job exists in the organization. Provide the peers, subordinates, managers with job title and job holder name if applicable. Report to Senior Manager, Sales, MSA SA Co-work with Territory Managers and Key Account Managers. Supported by Field Service Engineer, Marketing and Product Teams SA Key Accountabilities Identify the essential accountabilities of the role (5-6) and their purpose. It should NOT be a list of tasks that the jobholder must perform. Instead it should be a description of the duty areas and each duty typically refers to a number of tasks. Identify the key performance measurement criteria which should be quantitative and qualitative Maintain, develop, grow profitable key Accounts Stake Holder Management: Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to achieve the company objective Will be responsible for closing Rate contracts with key customers Marketing: Lead marketing initiative such as technical seminar and exhibitions Support and focus on all Donaldson market initiatives, both existing and new Developing growth pipeline for strategic accounts and tracking the same via CRM Collect and collate market information on competition Preparing strategies to enter new markets/ geographies Key Qualifications & Requirements Specific academic or professional qualifications/experience/competence necessary for this position Education Qualification: BE Mechanical from reputed institute MBA in marketing will be preferrable Technical Competence & Skills: Strong hold on value selling concept Effective oral and written communication skills Ability to successfully negotiate with customers at all management levels Strong commercial acumen and experience in direct sales Strong sales aptitude with excellent communication and organization skills Strong mechanical/technical aptitude, and the ability to learn new technologies through product-driven training programs Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) & CRM Leadership Competence: Strategic Thinking Skills Decision making capabilities Aggressive and assertive Negotiation, Motivational & Influential skills Relevant Experience: For BE : 6-8 years experience in Infrastructure or Mining Sector For MBA : 3-5 years experience in Infrastructure or Mining Sector Key Account Management experience is a must Others (% of travel, language, etc.): Geographically knowledge of the region and willingness to travel 60% of time Strong hold on English, Hindi and Gujarati or Marathi. Knowledge on any other regional language will be a plus point
