Key Account Manager (Banking)

Location: Karur, Tamil Nadu
Experience: 4 to 10 years
Industry Preference: Banking Sector (Personal Banker / Value Banker / Junior Relationship Manager)
Compensation: ₹6 – 7.5 LPA

Role Overview

The Key Account Manager will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with high-value clients, ensuring superior customer service, and driving business growth through cross-selling and upselling of banking products. The role demands strong relationship management skills, financial acumen, and the ability to deliver tailored solutions to clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and nurture relationships with key clients to ensure long-term engagement and retention.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing queries and providing financial solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling banking products (loans, deposits, investment services, insurance, etc.).
  • Achieve assigned sales and revenue targets while maintaining high service standards.
  • Conduct regular client reviews to understand evolving needs and provide proactive solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of client transactions and services.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Experience: 4–10 years in banking roles such as Personal Banker, Value Banker, or Junior Relationship Manager.
  • Strong track record in client relationship management and sales.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to understand financial products and customize solutions for clients.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and customer-centric mindset.
  • Knowledge of local market dynamics in Karur and surrounding regions will be an added advantage.
