KDB (Kx Systems) Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled KDB Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with KDB+/q, working on high-performance data systems, and building scalable solutions for real-time and historical data processing. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain KDB-based applications in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and optimize KDB+/q applications for real-time and historical data processing.Design and implement efficient data models and queries to handle large-scale datasets.Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver scalable solutions.Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance.Write clean, well-documented code following best practices.Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing within the team.

Qualifications

Proven experience in KDB+/q development and data handling.Strong understanding of time-series data and real-time data processing.Experience with data modeling and query optimization in KDB.Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments and scripting.Knowledge of financial or trading domain is a plus.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
