Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Jr. WordPress Developer located in Kolkata.
The Jr. WordPress Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining WordPress-based websites and web applications. The role requires strong front-end development skills, with hands-on knowledge in HTML, CSS, jQuery, Bootstrap, and Tailwind. A basic understanding of PHP and MySQL is essential to support back-end tasks. The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of experience in WordPress development and a passion for creating clean, functional, and user-friendly web solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive WordPress websites.
• Customize themes and plugins as per project requirements.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in HTML, CSS, and jQuery.
• Implement front-end frameworks like Bootstrap and Tailwind for modern, responsive UI.
• Support back-end development with basic PHP & MySQL knowledge.
• Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, performance bugs, and compatibility problems.
• Stay updated with the latest WordPress and front-end development trends.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of WordPress theme and plugin customization.
• Hands-on experience in HTML, CSS, jQuery, Bootstrap, and Tailwind CSS.
• Basic understanding of PHP and MySQL.
• Ability to create responsive, user-friendly, and cross-browser compatible websites.
• Familiarity with version control (Git) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent teamwork, time management, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in WordPress development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (preferred).

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
