As a Junior WordPress Developer, you will be an integral part of the development team, working on creating responsive, SEO-friendly, and high-performance websites. Your role will involve collaborating with senior developers, designers, and content teams to bring projects to life. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Installing, configuring, and managing WordPress themes and plugins. - Developing and customizing WordPress websites as per project requirements. - Optimizing websites for performance, security, and SEO. - Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, bugs, and errors. - Implementing custom styling using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. - Working with Elementor, Gutenberg, or other page builders for designing and structuring pages. - Ensuring websites are responsive and cross-browser compatible. - Performing regular updates and backups for WordPress websites. - Collaborating with design and content teams to enhance UI/UX. - Converting Figma designs into functional WordPress pages with pixel-perfect accuracy. - Setting up WordPress on localhost using XAMPP or LocalWP for development and testing. - Working with basic PHP and MySQL for minor backend modifications (preferred). In terms of technical skills, you should have: - Basic understanding of WordPress installation, setup, and configuration. - Knowledge of WordPress themes, plugins, and widgets. - Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. - Understanding of responsive design and UI/UX best practices. - Experience with Elementor, Gutenberg, or other page builders. - Knowledge of basic SEO principles and optimization techniques. - Awareness of website security measures and performance optimization. - Ability to convert Figma designs into WordPress layouts. - Experience in setting up WordPress on localhost (XAMPP, LocalWP, etc.). - Basic knowledge of PHP and MySQL (preferred).
