Junior Video Editor

Job Summary

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to assemble recorded footage into engaging, high-quality video content. The ideal candidate has a strong sense of storytelling, timing, and visual aesthetics, and can transform raw footage into compelling videos aligned with brand guidelines and project goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit raw video footage into polished final products for digital platforms (YouTube, social media, websites, ads, etc.)
• Collaborate with content creators, designers, and marketing teams to understand project requirements
• Add music, sound effects, graphics, captions, and color correction as needed
• Ensure videos meet quality standards, deadlines, and brand guidelines
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
• Review and revise edits based on feedback
• Organize and maintain video assets and project files

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Video Editor or similar role
• Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, etc.)
• Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and resolutions
• Knowledge of color grading, audio editing, and motion graphics basics
• Attention to detail and strong visual storytelling skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience editing content for social media platforms
• Knowledge of animation or motion graphics
• Familiarity with brand-driven or marketing content
• Basic understanding of filming techniques and camera work

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, Communications, or related field (preferred, not mandatory)
• 2+ years of relevant video editing experience
