Junior UI Developer

The Applications Development Programmer Analyst position is an intermediate level role where you will be involved in the establishment and implementation of new or updated application systems and programs in collaboration with the Technology team. Your main aim will be to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities. You will be responsible for utilizing your knowledge of applications development procedures and concepts, as well as basic understanding of other technical areas, to identify and define necessary system enhancements. Your role will involve identifying and analyzing issues, making recommendations, and implementing solutions. Additionally, you will utilize your knowledge of business processes, system processes, and industry standards to solve complex problems, analyze information, make evaluative judgements, recommend solutions, and improvements. As an Applications Development Programmer Analyst, you will be conducting testing and debugging, utilizing script tools, and writing basic code based on design specifications. You will also be required to develop a working knowledge of Citis information systems, procedures, standards, client-server application development, network operations, database administration, systems administration, data center operations, and PC-based applications. It is essential to appropriately assess risks when making business decisions, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, and maintaining ethical conduct. Qualifications for this role include a Bachelors degree/University degree or equivalent experience, along with 2-4 years of relevant experience. A strong understanding of JavaScript, CSS, HTML concepts is required, along with hands-on experience with UI tech stack React, Typescript. It would be beneficial to have experience with Backend technologies such as Java, Spring, and SQL. The ability to work independently, coordinate across teams to resolve dependencies, and create functional and technical specifications documentation is essential.
