Job Description

1. Batch Manufacturing Operations
Operate machinery for:

Granulation (dry/wet)
Blending
Compression (tablet pressing)
Capsule filling
Sifting and milling (e.g., multimill, co-mill, FBD, RMG)

Follow Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) precisely.
Set and monitor machine parameters (e.g., speed, time, temperature, pressure).
2. Material Handling
Ensure availability of required raw materials, excipients, and packaging materials.
Perform weighing, dispensing, and charging of materials into equipment.
Label and store materials as per GMP and safety norms.
3. Documentation
Fill out BMRs, equipment logs, cleaning records, and process records accurately.
Follow Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
Report deviations or non-conformances promptly.
4. Cleaning and Line Clearance
Perform cleaning (CIP/SIP/manual) of manufacturing areas and equipment before and after use.
Ensure line clearance from QA before starting new batches.
5. In-Process Quality Checks
Carry out basic quality checks during the process (e.g., weight variation, hardness, moisture content).
Ensure that the process stays within defined parameters.
6. Compliance and Safety
Adhere strictly to cGMP, SOPs, EHS (Environment, Health, Safety), and company policies.
Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Maintain hygiene and prevent cross-contamination.
