Job Description

Reporting to: Jayendra M Bhalodiya , Assistant Professor, School of Engineering and Applied Science Duration: 3 years Role Summary: AI Tool for Tumour Segmentation, Characterisation and Diagnosis. The role requires expertise in Python, artificial intelligence, computer vision, and image processing. Moreover, the candidate should have willingness to learn medical image analysis, tumour characterisation and diagnosis. The candidate must have a demonstrable project using at least U-Net for image segmentation. About us: Ahmedabad University is a private, non-profit University that offers students a liberal education with a focus on research-driven and project-based learning. Responsibilities: JRF will be responsible to develop a novel deep learning-based image segmentation methods by extending transformer-based architectures such as Swin U-Net. JRF will also be required to process image data and conduct experiments using GPU workstation and HPC facility. JRF will be required to report weekly progress to the project investigator and document the developed methods. Key Skills: Python, artificial intelligence, computer vision, image processing, health data analytics, transformers.
