Job Title: Junior QA Engineer (Manual Testing)
Experience: 6 Months – 1 Year
Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹30,000 per month

About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Junior QA Engineer to join our growing team in Mohali. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a foundational understanding of quality assurance and a passion for ensuring high-quality product delivery. The ideal candidate will have experience in manual testing and a basic working knowledge of automation testing tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute manual test cases and report bugs in a structured format.
• Understand software requirements and write effective test cases.
• Work closely with developers to identify and resolve issues.
• Perform functional, regression, and UI testing.
• Maintain test documentation and update it as the product evolves.
• Support QA leads in implementing test strategies and plans.
• Learn and gradually contribute to automation test suites.

Required Skills:

• 6 months to 1 year of hands-on experience in manual testing.
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
• Basic knowledge of automation tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, Postman for API testing).
• Understanding of SDLC and STLC.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to testing APIs or using tools like Postman.
• Basic scripting knowledge (Java, Python, or any other).
• Understanding of Agile methodologies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
