Junior QA Engineer

As a Junior QA Engineer at our company, you will be an essential part of our team, contributing to the delivery of high-quality products. Your role involves collaborating with senior QA members to execute test cases, identify defects, and ensure software quality. Key Responsibilities: - Understand requirements and create basic test cases. - Perform test cases for functional, UI, and regression testing. - Report bugs with detailed documentation. - Support senior QA team in test planning and automation tasks. - Conduct basic API testing and database validation. - Maintain test logs, documentation, and provide status updates. - Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as scrum meetings, sprint planning, and retrospectives. Required Skills: - Basic understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). - Familiarity with manual testing concepts. - Knowledge of automation tools is an added advantage. - Basic SQL knowledge. - Strong communication, observational, and problem-solving skills. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or a related field. - Certification in software testing, such as ISTQB, is a plus.
