Junior QA Engineer

As a Junior QA Engineer (Manual Testing) at our company based in Dehradun, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our web and mobile applications. Your attention to detail and ability to effectively identify and report defects will be highly valued. **Key Responsibilities:** - Execute manual test cases for web and mobile applications. - Understand and follow test plans, test scenarios, and acceptance criteria. - Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA or similar. - Perform functional, regression, smoke, and UI testing. - Collaborate with developers, product managers, and senior QA team members to ensure product quality. - Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and review meetings. - Assist in improving QA processes and test documentation. **Skills & Qualifications:** - Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle. - Ability to write clear and concise test cases and bug reports. - Basic knowledge of API testing (Postman preferred) - good to have. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Good communication and teamwork abilities. - B.Tech degree preferred but candidates with relevant skills and experience may also apply. In addition to the above, exposure to automation tools (Selenium, Playwright, etc.) and basic understanding of SQL queries would be considered nice-to-have skills for this role.,
