Junior QA Engineer

Role Overview: You will be a valuable part of the team working on a significant software project for a world-class company providing M2M / IoT 4G/5G modules to industries such as automotive, healthcare, and logistics. Your contribution will involve developing end-user modules" firmware, implementing new features, maintaining compatibility with the latest telecommunication and industry standards, as well as performing analysis and estimations of customer requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Design test plans and create test cases for exciting new features being introduced - Partner with various product and engineering teams to help validate the streaming application on partner devices - Improve existing test cases when there are gaps - Diagnose issues, report defects, and propose additional tests to discover reoccurrences - Assist with triaging automation issues (basic automation experience required) Qualifications Required: - Highly motivated individual passionate about quality - 2+ years of practical QA experience, preferably testing on devices like Roku, Fire TV, Android TV, and Apple TV - Strong organizational skills and ability to track multiple test executions simultaneously - Knowledge of QA methodology and test/defect management tools; experience with TestRail and Jira is a plus - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Good reporting, analytical, and problem-solving skills Additional Details about GlobalLogic: GlobalLogic, a Hitachi Group Company, is a trusted digital engineering partner known for collaborating with the world's largest and most forward-thinking companies since 2000.
