Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented

Junior QA Engineer

to join our growing team. This role is perfect for freshers or early-career professionals who are passionate about software quality and eager to build a career in testing. You will work closely with senior QA members to execute test cases, identify defects, and contribute to delivering high-quality products.Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Understand requirements and prepare basic test cases.
Execute test cases for functional, UI, and regression testing.
Identify and report bugs with detailed documentation.
Assist senior QA team members in test planning and automation tasks.
Perform basic API testing and database validation.
Maintain test logs, documentation, and status updates.
Participate in Agile ceremonies (scrum meetings, sprint planning, retros).

Required Skills

Basic understanding of SDLC and STLC.
Knowledge of manual testing concepts.
Familiarity with automation tools (added advantage).
Basic SQL knowledge.
Good communication, observation, and problem-solving abilities.

Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field.
Certification in software testing is a plus (ISTQB, etc.).
