Job Title: Junior PHP Developer (WordPress & Laravel) Location: Sector 63, Noida Experience: 6 months to 1 year Job Type: Full-time Salary: As per industry standards Company: Questwalk Technologies Private Limited Job Summary: We are looking for a Junior PHP Developer with 6 months to 1 year of experience in WordPress and Core PHP development. The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic, a quick learner, and eager to grow in a fast-paced development environment. Experience or knowledge of PHP frameworks like Laravel , CodeIgniter , or other CMS platforms will be considered a strong plus. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain websites and web applications using WordPress and PHP. Customize existing themes and plugins or create new ones as needed. Write clean, efficient, and secure PHP code. Collaborate with the design and development teams to implement new features. Debug, test, and optimize code for performance and usability. Work with Git for version control and collaborative development. Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in web development. Required Skills: Good understanding of PHP and WordPress (core, themes, and plugins development). Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery. Basic knowledge of MySQL and database design. Familiarity with Git and version control workflows. Understanding of website performance and security basics. Ability to debug and resolve issues independently. Preferred / Bonus Skills: Exposure to PHP frameworks like Laravel , CodeIgniter , or Symfony . Understanding of REST APIs and JSON. Experience with cPanel, hosting environments, or domain/DNS configurations. Familiarity with website deployment, backups, and migration. Knowledge of MVC architecture and OOP concepts. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or pursuing). Internship or live project experience in WordPress or PHP.
