Junior PHP Developer

Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated PHP Developer with 1–2 years of experience in building dynamic web applications and working with databases. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in PHP, AJAX, jQuery, SQL, and integrating RESTful APIs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, enhance, and maintain web applications using PHP, AJAX, jQuery, and SQL.
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices.
• Work with RESTful APIs for data exchange and third-party integrations.
• Optimize queries and database structures for performance improvements.
• Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members for seamless application functionality.
• Debug, test, and resolve application issues to ensure smooth performance.
• Maintain proper documentation of code and technical processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 1–2 years of hands-on experience in PHP development.
• Strong knowledge of AJAX and jQuery for interactive web interfaces.
• Proficiency in SQL (MySQL / PostgreSQL) – writing queries, joins, and stored procedures.
• Experience in RESTful API integration and development.
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice to Have (Optional):

• Experience with PHP frameworks (Laravel, CodeIgniter, etc.).
• Knowledge of JSON, XML, or other data formats.
• Understanding of MVC architecture.

Job Types: Full-time, Commission

Pay: Up to ₹320,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

• T Nagar, Chennai, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
