Job Description

About the job: Key responsibilities: 1. Ensure the accurate processing and reconciliation of financial transactions, including loans, premiums, investments, and claims, while adhering to internal controls and regulatory standards 2. Adhere to regulations set by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI), and other relevant bodies, ensuring operations meet legal and compliance requirements 3. Address and resolve client queries related to back-office operations, ensuring timely and effective communication 4. Prepare and maintain the Management Information System and reports, providing insights into operational performance and areas for improvement 5. Identify opportunities for process enhancements to improve efficiency and mitigate operational risks 6. Implement automated systems for transaction processing and reconciliation to minimise errors and enhance operational efficiency Requirements: 1. Hold a Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Economics or CFP, QPFP certifications 2. Possess up to 2 years of experience in back office operations within the banking, insurance, mutual funds, loans, or financial services sector in India 3. Demonstrate strong knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with software of the industry and transaction processing systems 4. Understand Indian banking regulations, mutual funds, insurance, and financial laws 5. Apply strong attention to detail with the ability to analyse and resolve complex operational issues 6. Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Hindi is a plus 7.
