About the job: As the Basecamp Manager, you'll ensure the property functions like a dream behind the scenes, so our community experiences feel effortless and magical. You'll work closely with the hosting, kitchen, and design teams but your primary focus is on making the systems strong, solving problems quickly, and keeping the land and infrastructure running smartly. Key responsibilities: 1. Oversee and maintain all campsite infrastructure: water, power, waste, lighting, tools, etc. 2. Manage staff: housekeeping, ground workers, basic technical, or maintenance hands. 3. Coordinate vendors and local suppliers for materials, repairs, or restocking. 4. Track and manage inventory (linens, firewood, kitchen essentials, tools, etc.). 5. Troubleshoot property-related issues with calm, practical judgment. 6. Support guest experience indirectly by ensuring seamless backend operations. 7. Collaborate with the community/event team to prepare the site for gatherings or seasonal changes. 8. Maintain a grounded sense of order, routine, and flexibility at the site. 9. Document key learnings, repairs, systems, and improvements as the campsite evolves.
