Junior Finishing Engineer

Location: Cuttack, Odisha.

Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹40,000 per month.

Gender: Male.

Experience: 3-4 yrs.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finishing Engineer to oversee and execute high-quality finishing works for a commercial building project in Cuttack. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in civil finishing activities and a strong eye for aesthetics, precision, and quality control.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all finishing works including :Masonry, plastering, tiling, painting, and false ceiling installation,Door/window frame and shutter fixing,Stone cladding (wet and dry), façade treatments,Waterproofing and toilet fittings
• Ensure work is executed as per architectural drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and site teams for timely execution.
• Monitor daily progress and maintain snag lists.
• Conduct quality checks and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Prepare material quantity estimates and requisitions.
• Resolve on-site issues and ensure smooth workflow.

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering
• 3–4 years of experience in finishing works for commercial or residential projects
• Strong understanding of finishing materials and techniques
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings
• Excellent communication and team coordination skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic project management tools
