Junior Field Application Engineer-EV

As a Field Application Engineer at Vecmocon, you will play a crucial role in testing and integrating electric vehicle sub-systems. Your strong basics in electrical engineering and hands-on testing experience will contribute to developing cutting-edge solutions for electric vehicle batteries, ensuring top-notch safety, reliability, and performance. **Key Responsibilities:** - Understand project requirements, electrical schematics, and integrate BMS, Charger, and IOTs for electric vehicles at both bench and vehicle levels. - Conduct testing, analyze CAN data, verify protocol adherence, prepare test reports, and provide feedback to the R&D team. - Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA), develop and execute test plans, and validate performance. - Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and optimize system performance. - Offer technical support, troubleshoot issues at customer sites, and train customer technicians/test engineers on using Vecmocon software and tools. - Willingness to travel to customer sites for integration and testing as this is a field job. **Key Skills:** - Strong understanding of Electrical and Electronics fundamentals. - Proficiency in documentation tools like Word and Excel. - Hands-on experience in CAN communication and testing tools such as multimeter and DSO. - Proficient English communication skills. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. - Basic experience in soldering (SMT/THC) and ability to understand schematics. **Nice To Have Skills:** - Knowledge of battery management systems, including cell balancing, voltage/temperature monitoring, and fault protection. - Understanding of batteries, battery types, and components. **Preferred Qualifications:** - Bachelors/Diploma in Electrical and Electronics. - Preferred industries: Automotive electronics, IOT, Inverters, Charger, Solar.
