Junior Engineer - Injection Molding

As an Injection Molding Technician, your role will involve handling injection molding processing and identifying process needs for new product development. You will be responsible for lining out all production processes in a timely manner with minimal wastage. Your keen observation skills will be crucial in maintaining product quality and cycle time by continually monitoring and controlling temperature, pressure, and speed according to the raw material requirements. Your expertise will be essential in minimizing troubleshooting of quality and processing problems and making necessary corrections. You will be expected to diligently follow the daily maintenance and cleaning schedule of machines and auxiliary equipment. Additionally, you must be proficient in measuring machine performance, scrap, waste, and downtime accurately. In this role, you will be tasked with generating and following production documentation such as assembly instructions and process data. It will be your responsibility to create reports for downtime and possible trends, contributing to the overall efficiency of the production processes. You will also provide assistance during mold changeovers with a focus on reducing SMED time. Maintaining a clean and organized work environment is paramount, as you will be required to uphold the 5S standards in the plant. Flexibility is key, as you should be prepared to work in any shift and department as needed.
