Humraha is a small Textile Design studio based in Jaipur, India. We specialize in hand-crafted techniques such as Block printing, Embroidery, Tie and Dye, and weaving. Our services range from conceptualizing fabric collections, designing them, procuring fabric, to getting textiles manufactured. We cater to all textile needs with a keen focus on traditional craftsmanship and quality.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Designer and Merchandiser located in Jaipur. The Junior Designer and Merchandiser will be responsible for supporting the design process, assisting in creating fabric collections, managing inventory and procurement, liaising with manufacturers, and ensuring quality control. Day-to-day tasks will include concept development, sketching designs, Reaching out to customers and coordinating with them.

Qualifications

• Design skills, including concept development and sketching
• Knowledge of hand-crafted techniques like Block printing, Embroidery, Tie and Dye, and weaving
• Proficiency in market research and trend analysis
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor's degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or a related field is preferred
• Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
