Job Description

Junior DBA (Oracle, SQL Server, Cloud DBs

Experience : 1–3 years (or relevant internship/training experience)

Role Overview

Motivated Junior Database Administrator.Support daily operations across a diverse environment including Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Amazon Redshift in a hybrid (on-prem and cloud) environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in database backup, recovery, patching, and general maintenance.
Monitor health and availability of production and non-production databases.
Support cloning and refreshes of development/test environments.
Participate in database deployment activities and version control processes.
Maintain scripts for automation of routine DBA tasks (e.g., health checks, cleanup).
Help maintain compliance with internal security policies and SOX access audits.
Document standard operating procedures and support playbooks.
Assist with Oracle EBS environment maintenance and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with backup/recovery tools (e.g., RMAN, SQL Server Maintenance Plans)
Basic scripting knowledge (Shell, PowerShell, or Python)
