Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the implementation and monitoring of data privacy policies and procedures.
• Support data mapping exercises and maintain the Record of Processing Activities (RoPA).
• Conduct basic Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) under the supervision of the DPO.
• Assist in responding to Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) and managing data breach incidents.
• Monitor third-party vendor compliance with privacy requirements.
• Stay updated with global data privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, DPDPA, etc.
• Contribute to awareness campaigns and privacy training for employees.
• Maintain documentation for compliance audits and regulatory inspections.
• Help ensure data handling practices align with security and privacy best practices.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Law, Information Security, IT, or a related field.
• 02 years of experience in data privacy, legal compliance, or information security.
• Basic understanding of global privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, DPDPA).
• Strong research and documentation skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

Preferred Skills :

• Certifications like CIPP/E, CIPM, or equivalent (or willingness to pursue).
• Exposure to ISO/IEC 27701 or 27001 standards.
• Familiarity with data governance tools or privacy management platforms.
• Knowledge of risk assessments and privacy by design principles.
