Junior Data Analyst

We are looking for a detail-oriented and skilled Junior Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. Your role will be integral to the creation of Management Information (MI) Dashboards, driving intelligence and insights across our organization. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in using Power BI and Microsoft Fabric, thriving in a demanding, data-led environment. You are expected to have a good understanding of Master Data Management & Data Science methodologies and apply them relevantly within the organization. You will be responsible for supporting the development of Management Information Dashboards by assisting in designing, developing, and maintaining interactive MI Dashboards using Power BI under guidance. Additionally, you will help in creating data models, basic DAX queries, and integrating data from various sources to support reporting needs. Your role will also involve supporting data analysis and reporting by identifying trends and insights from datasets that contribute to business decisions. You will use basic statistical techniques and tools to generate reports and dashboards, contributing to business intelligence initiatives and data-driven decision-making. Collaboration is key in this role as you will closely work with team members and stakeholders to understand data requirements, deliver data solutions, and enhance data literacy within the organization. You will also be involved in data preparation tasks using SQL, automating data extraction and transformation processes, and maintaining API connections for integrating data sources into dashboards and data systems. In your journey towards continuous learning and improvement, you will identify areas for personal and process enhancement, staying updated on data analysis techniques and BI tools to foster skills and drive innovation. You will also assist in following and improving data quality assurance processes to maintain accuracy and reliability of data used in reporting and analysis, performing data cleansing tasks, and monitoring data quality metrics. Furthermore, you will gain exposure to machine learning concepts, assist in statistical analyses, create data visualizations, and learn about big data technologies. Essential technical skills for this role include basic to intermediate proficiency in Power BI or similar BI tools, familiarity with SQL and APIs, data handling, data quality, and Excel skills including Pivot Tables and Power Query.
