Junior Data Analyst

As a Data Analyst with around 1 year of professional experience, you will have the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams to interpret data, create reports, and help drive data-backed decisions across the business. Key Responsibilities: - Collect, clean, and organize structured and unstructured data from various sources. - Analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights. - Create dashboards and visualizations using tools like Excel, Power BI, or Tableau. - Write SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from relational databases. - Support senior analysts and business teams in ad-hoc reporting and analysis tasks. - Assist in maintaining and improving data pipelines and reports. - Document data sources, processes, and reporting logic. - Participate in data quality checks and validation processes. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field. - 1 year of hands-on experience in a data analyst or similar role. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, etc.). - Working knowledge of SQL for data querying. - Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio. - Basic understanding of statistics and data modeling concepts. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Good written and verbal communication skills. Preferred (Nice to Have): - Experience with Python or R for data analysis or automation. - Exposure to Google Analytics, CRM platforms, or web traffic data. - Knowledge of ETL processes or tools like Talend, Alteryx, or Apache Airflow. - Understanding of business KPIs and ability to relate data insights to business outcomes.
