Job Title: IVF Consultant (Fresher)

Department: Fertility / Reproductive Medicine
Location: Pravi IVF and Fertility Centre, Kanpur
Reports to: Senior IVF Consultant / Clinical Director

Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Junior IVF Consultant to join our fertility team. The candidate will assist senior consultants in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of infertility cases and gradually take on independent consultations. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified doctor to build a career in the growing field of reproductive medicine.

Key Responsibilities: Clinical Responsibilities:

• Assist in conducting outpatient consultations for infertility evaluations.
• Support in planning and monitoring patient treatment protocols including IUI, IVF, ICSI, and ovulation induction.
• Take detailed patient histories and explain procedures, risks, and expected outcomes.
• Observe and assist in procedures like follicular scans, egg retrievals, embryo transfers, etc.
• Interpret lab reports and ultrasound findings under guidance.

Patient Interaction & Counseling:

• Provide empathetic counseling to patients about treatment plans, medications, and procedures.
• Address patient concerns and educate them about reproductive options.
• Assist in managing patient expectations and emotional well-being throughout the fertility journey.

Operational Coordination:

• Coordinate with embryology, nursing, pharmacy, and administrative teams for smooth patient flow.
• Maintain accurate documentation in electronic medical records (EMR).
• Ensure compliance with clinic protocols and ICMR/ART Act guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Required:
• MBBS (mandatory)
• Valid medical license (MCI or state council registration)
• Preferred:
• Postgraduate degree (DGO / MD / MS in Obstetrics & Gynecology)
• Certificate course or hands-on training in ART/IVF (preferred but optional)

• Basic knowledge of reproductive physiology and infertility causes
• Strong interest in women’s health and ART treatments
• Compassionate, calm, and patient-focused approach
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a highly specialized field

Work Schedule :

• Full-time role; availability for weekend or early morning shifts as needed
• May involve rotational duties across OPD, scans, and procedure support
