Job Title: Senior CAD Design Engineer – Automotive (NX)

Location : Dholka, Ahmedabad

Experience : 2-3 years

Salary : ₹30,000 – ₹40,000 per month

Working Days: Monday to Saturday

Working Hours : 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM

Weekly Off: Sunday

Job Purpose:

We are seeking a Senior CAD Design Engineer with strong automotive experience and advanced proficiency in Siemens NX. The ideal candidate will take ownership of complex vehicle part designs, support packaging and engineering decisions, and work collaboratively across functions to ensure successful product development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently design parts, mechanisms, and trims for electric 2W and 3W vehicles using NX
• Lead the creation of 2D drawings and complete documentation
• Collaborate closely with Engineering and Styling teams for integration and feasibility
• Present design concepts and provide detailed technical justifications
• Participate in packaging reviews and technical assessments
• Oversee physical prototyping, design validation, and required design modifications
• Ensure compliance with manufacturing processes, GD&T standards, and tolerances
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, reviewing their work as needed
• Stay updated on automotive trends, materials, and best design practices

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Education : Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Automobile, or a related Engineering field
• Experience : 4–7 years in CAD design (automotive industry experience is mandatory)
• Software Proficiency: Siemens NX (Advanced Level)

Technical Knowledge:

• Strong understanding of GD&T principles
• Hands-on experience with sheet metal design and injection moulding
• Deep knowledge of automotive part design, packaging, and integration

Soft Skills:

• Strong communication and leadership qualities
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive, ownership-driven approach

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
