Junior Biomedical Engineer

As a Biomedical Engineer/Technologist at Delhi Hospital & Nursing Home, you will be responsible for the routine care, servicing, and upkeep of general and specialized medical equipment/appliances/medical-industrial plants used in the hospital. Your key responsibilities will include: - Maintaining purchase, warranty, and service contracts, as well as records of all equipment - Liaising with service providers/proprietary firms for equipment maintenance - Arranging accessories/spares/consumables compatible with the available equipment - Upgrading old medical equipment - Reselling/scrapping and safely disposing of condemned items - Purchasing new equipment/items as demanded by various departments - Maintaining store inventory and stocks - Training staff on the ideal use of different equipment - Ensuring regulatory approvals are up to date and safety standards are complied with Desirable qualifications for this role include: - Experience in maintaining stock inventories and medical records - Knowledge of computing management and inventory software - Knowledge/contacts with available suppliers Qualifications required: - Diploma/Degree in biomedical engineering from a recognized Institute in India - Past experience in the requisite discipline will be considered an advantage Salary/Remuneration: - Assured: Best in the industry; negotiable as per experience and competencies In addition to the above responsibilities, you should have the ability to reliably commute or plan to relocate to Bahadurgarh, Haryana before starting work.
