Junior Automation Engineer

As a Junior Automation Maintenance Engineer, you will play a vital role in the preventive and corrective maintenance of automation systems and equipment. Your responsibilities will include: - Performing routine inspection, testing, and preventive maintenance on automation systems such as PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and actuators. - Assisting in troubleshooting and resolving issues in automated production lines or machines. - Supporting the calibration, tuning, and updating of control programs and logic as directed by senior engineers. - Maintaining documentation of all maintenance activities, breakdown records, and system configurations. - Collaborating with production and engineering teams to ensure minimal disruption to operations during maintenance. - Ensuring safety compliance during maintenance activities and following all standard operating procedures. - Monitoring the performance of automation systems and reporting irregularities to the senior team. - Assisting in the replacement and installation of faulty electrical and control components. - Providing support during equipment upgrades, retrofitting, or new installations. - Maintaining an inventory of critical automation spare parts and tools.
