Junior Automation Engineer

As a Junior Automation Engineer specializing in C# and SpecFlow, your role will involve developing and maintaining automated test scripts for various applications, including web, desktop, and API applications. You will work with C# and SpecFlow to create automated test scripts and assist in generating Gherkin-based test scenarios from user stories. Your responsibilities will also include executing test suites, reporting defects, participating in regression testing cycles, integrating automated tests into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, collaborating with developers and QA leads to troubleshoot and resolve issues, and contributing to the documentation of test cases, frameworks, and best practices. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web, desktop, and API applications using C# and SpecFlow. - Assist in creating Gherkin-based test scenarios from user stories under senior guidance. - Execute test suites, report defects, and participate in regression testing cycles. - Support integration of automated tests into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines. - Collaborate with developers and QA leads to troubleshoot and resolve issues. - Contribute to documentation of test cases, frameworks, and best practices. Qualifications Required: - B.Tech in any discipline. Required Skills & Experience: - Basic proficiency in C# and SpecFlow; understanding of BDD concepts. - Familiarity with Selenium WebDriver or similar UI automation tools. - Knowledge of API testing fundamentals (e.g., RestSharp). - Exposure to version control (Git) and test frameworks (NUnit/MSTest). - Ability to work in Agile/Scrum teams and quick learner mindset. Preferred Experience: - Any exposure to Azure DevOps or cloud platforms. Please note that this is a full-time position located in Bangalore with an entry-level automation experience requirement of 5-12 years and a notice period of 23 weeks.,
