Junior Automation Engineer

Role Overview: As a Test Automation Engineer, your main responsibility will be to develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks. You will be executing automated test cases to identify bugs, performance issues, and regressions. Collaborating with the QA and development teams, you will create test plans and test cases, report, track, and document software defects using bug-tracking tools like JIRA. Additionally, you will work closely with developers to debug and resolve automation failures, continuously improve test automation frameworks and scripts to increase efficiency, participate in code reviews, and contribute to best practices for automation testing. You will also assist in manual testing efforts when needed to ensure comprehensive test coverage and stay updated with industry trends and new automation tools.
