Junior Associate - Non Litigation

The ideal candidate for this position will help us in:

• research on banking, finance and infrastructure laws and its practice in India;
• preparation, review and finalisation of contractual agreements for infrastructure projects. These infrastructure contracts will primarily be in the nature of construction contracts, bidding documents and financing documents.

Responsibilities:

A. Drafting and reviewing of bidding documents

B. Research and keep updated on the relevant area specific legislations and circulars

C. Prepare process notes on activities carried out in the firm

D. Participate in writing articles and research papers on topics primarily around infrastructure laws in India

Qualifications:

A. Bachelor's degree in Law (acceptable in India)

B. 0 - 2 years professional working experience.

C. Strong communication and interpersonal skills and good writing skills

D. Professional levels of speaking and writing - English and intermediate levels of spoken-Hindi is necessary as the work profile involves reviewing and drafting of contracts in 'plain english'.
