Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain day-to-day bookkeeping using accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, SAP, etc.).
  • Record journal entries, invoices, receipts, and payments accurately.
  • Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).
  • Assist in vendor management, invoice verification, and payment processing.
  • Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and statements.
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and vendor reconciliations.
  • Track expenses and assist in budgeting and cost control activities.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
  • Assist in preparing management reports and financial summaries.
  • Prepare GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and other statutory compliance documents.
  • Ensure timely filing of tax returns and statutory payments.
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights for decision-making.
  • Prepare financial reports such as P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow summaries.
  • Assist auditors during internal and external audits.
  • Recommend improvements to accounting processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field (B.Com, M.Com preferred).
  • 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in accounting and finance.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Tally ERP9/Prime, Zoho, SAP, QuickBooks, etc.).
  • Good knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance.
  • Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Formulas).
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
