Job Description

Assistant Accountant
Work from Office

Location - Bangalore

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced In-House Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities including invoicing, GST filing, and return submissions. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of accounting principles and relevant tax regulations, with at least 2-4 years of hands-on experience.

Key Responsibilities

Generate and manage customer and vendor invoices
Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
Prepare and file GST returns and other statutory filings
Reconcile bank statements and ledgers
Assist in the preparation of financial reports and audits
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
Support month-end and year-end close processes

Requirements

Minimum 2 to 4 years of accounting experience, preferably in an in-house role
Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, or similar)
Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Based in or willing to relocate to Bengalurue
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Preferred Skills

Experience working with MS Excel and Google Sheets
Good communication and documentation skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹300,000.00 per year
