Junior Accountant

About Us:

Transact India Exports is a leading exporter of children’s ready-made garments, catering mainly to the Middle East market. We are looking for an experienced Garments Designer to develop export-quality collections that blend creativity with commercial appeal.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Assist in day-to-day accounting operations.
• Record journal entries, maintain ledgers, and reconcile accounts.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable with accuracy.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and reports.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
• Maintain records of invoices, receipts, and vouchers.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Assist in tax filings, GST/TDS returns, and audits.
• Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal teams regarding financial transactions.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance (or pursuing).
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally/QuickBooks/Zoho Books preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under supervision and meet deadlines.
