Junior Accountant

As a Junior Accountant at SKB Accounting, you will work closely with senior accountants and client managers to manage and maintain the books of accounts for US-based clients. Your responsibilities will include maintaining client books of accounts, reviewing bank and credit card entries, performing bank reconciliations, preparing financial reports, and assisting in financial statement preparation using tools like QuickBooks and MS Office, especially Excel, for reporting, analysis, and documentation. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain client books of accounts for US-based businesses. - Review bank and credit card entries and perform bank reconciliations. - Prepare financial reports as per individual client requirements. - Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reporting. - Utilize MS Office tools, especially Excel, for reporting, analysis, and documentation. Tools & Software You'll Work On: - Primary tool: QuickBooks (Online & Desktop) - Other tools: Xero, Sage, Yardi, AppFolio, Buildium, etc. Eligibility & Qualifications: - Education: B.Com / M.Com / CA Intermediate - Experience: 1-2 years of experience (Accounting/Bookkeeping experience preferred) - Prior experience in US Accounting / US Bookkeeping is an added advantage Skills & Prerequisites: - Awareness of basic accountancy terminology. - Basic knowledge of MS Word & MS Excel. - Ability to read, write, and understand English clearly. - Exposure or experience in Financial Reporting & Analytical procedures.
