Junior Accountant

Job Description Bookkeeping & Data Entry: Record day-to-day transactions in Tally, Zoho Books, or Excel. Maintain client ledgers, bank books, cash books, and journal entries. Assist in preparing trial balance and basic financial reports. Tax & Compliance Support: Help prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B). Assist in preparing TDS returns and generating challans. Reconcile GSTR-2B with purchase registers. Maintain compliance trackers for due dates and deadlines. Documentation: Organize and file invoices, challans, bank statements, and bills. Support audit file preparation and documentation. Maintain proper digital and physical record-keeping for all clients. Client Support: Follow up with clients for documents, invoices, and clarification. Respond to routine client queries related to basic accounts or compliance. Assistance to Seniors: Work under the guidance of Senior Accountants and Chartered Accountants. Requirements Qualifications & Skills Education : B.Com / M.Com (or pursuing CA/CS/CMA) Experience : 1–2 years (Freshers with internship experience can apply) Skills : Basic knowledge of accounting principles. Familiarity with Tally, Excel, and accounting software. Good attention to detail and accuracy. Eagerness to learn and grow in a professional environment.
