Junior Accountant

As a Bookkeeper at our organization, your primary responsibility will be managing the daily books of accounts and inventory effectively. This includes preparing cash books, bank statements, journals, and supplier invoices. You will also be in charge of reconciliation of statements and managing bank transaction activities. Additionally, you will play a vital role in the preparation of balance sheets and profit & loss accounts. Your duties will also involve month-end activities, tax compliance, revenue reconciliations, and balance sheet reconciliations. Flexibility is key in this role as you may be required to perform other duties as assigned. This position directly reports to the Sr. Manager of the client, requiring you to have strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization. Your verbal and written communication skills should be at an average level, and you are expected to possess excellent presentation skills. Ideal candidates for this role should have a B.COM degree with 0 to 2 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is a must, and a willingness to travel occasionally may be required.
