Junior Accountant

Full Job Description :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to support our finance and accounts department. The candidate will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounting tasks, maintaining financial records, assisting in audits, and ensuring compliance with company policies and statutory regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record day-to-day financial transactions and maintain ledgers.
• Prepare vouchers, invoices, bills, and supporting documents.
• Assist in accounts payable and receivable management.
• Reconcile bank statements and vendor accounts.
• Maintain accurate records of expenses, income, and other financial data.
• Support senior accountants in preparing financial reports and MIS.
• Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance.
• Handle petty cash and daily cashbook entries.
• Coordinate with auditors during audits and provide required documents.
• Ensure proper filing and documentation of financial records.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Accounting/Finance.
• 0–3 years of experience in accounting (freshers can also apply).
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and taxation (GST/TDS).
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally ERP, Busy, or similar).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in bookkeeping and financial reporting.
• Ability to work under supervision and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of ERP/advanced accounting tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹27,000.00 per month
