he Junior Accountant supports the finance department with daily accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial records. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, disciplined, and organised individual eager to learn and grow in accounting and finance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Daily Accounting Operations:
- Record and maintain financial transactions.
- Assist in accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Update general ledger entries and reconcile accounts.
- Monitor and record petty cash expenses.
- Maintain accurate records of vendor invoices and payments.
2. Bank & Cash Management:
- Help with daily bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and maintain payment vouchers.
- Support cash flow monitoring and reporting.
3. Inventory & Purchase Support (if applicable):
- Coordinate with purchase and store teams for inventory reconciliation.
- Ensure accuracy in GRN records.
- Track vendor outstanding balances.
4. Documentation & Compliance:
- Prepare and maintain documentation for audit requirements.
- Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory filings.
- Ensure proper filing and documentation of bills, receipts, and ledgers.
5. Reporting & Analysis:
- Assist the senior accountant in preparing monthly MIS.
- Generate basic financial reports.
- Support budget vs actual tracking.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (B.Com/M.Com)
- 0–2 years of relevant experience
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally/Zoho/QuickBooks)
- Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Ability to work with deadlines and maintain accuracy
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
