Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Junior Accountant located in Chennai. The Junior Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day accounting tasks including maintaining financial records, preparing reports, reconciling accounts, and assisting in the preparation of financial statements. The role also includes managing invoices, preparing tax returns, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Qualifications

Strong foundation in Accounting, Bookkeeping, and Financial Reporting
Proficiency in using accounting software and tools
Ability to reconcile accounts and manage invoices
Understanding of tax regulations and preparation of tax returns
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
