Job Description

Junior Accountant – Roles and Responsibilities1. Financial Record Keeping

Maintain day-to-day accounting records such as journal entries, ledgers, and vouchers.
Ensure accuracy in posting transactions to the correct accounts.
Assist in the preparation and maintenance of general ledgers.

2. Accounts Payable and Receivable

Process supplier invoices and ensure timely vendor payments.

3. Bank and Cash Management

Assist in monthly bank reconciliation statements.
Monitor petty cash and ensure proper documentation for all cash expenses.
Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records for audits.

5. Taxation and Compliance

Help in preparing GST, TDS, and other statutory returns.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and local tax laws.
Support auditors during internal or external audits.

6. Payroll Assistance

Assist in payroll processing and maintain employee expense records.
Ensure timely deduction and remittance of statutory contributions (e.g., PF, ESI).

Key Skills Required

Basic knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books).
Attention to detail and good analytical ability.
Time management and organizational skills.
Integrity and confidentiality in handling financial data.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
