Jr. Web Developer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a passionate and motivated Junior Web Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with WordPress development, including custom themes and plugin creation, as well as knowledge of API integration and front-end technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites
• Work on custom themes and plugin development as per project requirements
• Customize WooCommerce templates and functionality
• Integrate third-party APIs with WordPress
• Ensure responsive, user-friendly design and functionality
• Debug and resolve issues related to performance, compatibility, and functionality
• Collaborate with team members including designers and senior developers

Required Skills:

• Good understanding of WordPress core functions, themes, and plugins
• Experience in custom WordPress theme/plugin development
• Basic knowledge of WooCommerce customization
• Familiarity with REST API integration
• Strong grasp of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery
• Basic understanding of PHP and MySQL
• Experience with version control tools like Git
• Problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn new tools/technologies

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to React.js or other modern JavaScript libraries
• Familiarity with popular page builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery)
• Experience with debugging tools (e.g., browser dev tools, Query Monitor)
• Basic SEO and performance optimization knowledge
